Goin back to the "hard to mod" C&C3 engine........... there was that little file they callled "misc.big"....


In C&C3 it was just a simple code that tells the engine not to render the damn housecolors via the code - Enable Housecolor =no.

reinstallin C&C3 and playin RA3 told me the engine is quite different. Gone are the smooth smoke and heat fx's. replaced by an uber-saturation color xsheme they tried to remove in the expanxion thinghy. RA3 is and will always be my fav in the C&C universe of games.
