Does anyone no how to code a civilian building to automactically blow up when someone comes near it? Im trying to make something like a road side bomb....

Give it a weapon,that has a range near 1 cell.And make the fire animation destroy everything in 2 cells?

Give it a weapon with Suicide=yes, Damage=1 and give it a range of like 1.5-3. Then give the building a DeathWeapon(the deathweapon will be activated once the suicide weapon is fired.)

Apex got it.

If it's a road side bomb, you might want to make it invisible. You don't want to clue in your victim, hehehe. Also, you could make some extra civ cars and set it to them as well, for that IED feel. Just make them sticky in the map you make, or they might chase your units down...

pretty cool stuff, although just simply adding a suicide=yes weapon and a Death Weapon didnt work alone for some reason for me. I added a few strings to the civi building:
Adding these 4 lines to the structure made it work perfectly...

OpportunityFire=yes
CanPassiveAcquire=yes
DefaultToGaurdArea=yes
BerserkFriendly=yes

Copy building info from ini file and add these lines to it and and whamo, awsome road side bomb, and like TheNecro said make it invisible to the enemies by adding:

InvisibleInGame=yes
RadarInvisible=yes

I used:
Primary=SuicideBomb ;range 3 worked the best for me
DeathWeapon=TerrorBomb

Nice work though, I had an idea like this a while ago. Is there any way to get a player unit to deploy into a neutral/apparently neutral building/unit?
