Well, I wasn't sure how this guy was gonna turn out, but I have to say I'm pretty pleased with it. Looks beautiful ingame. Right now it's just a clone of the stryker, with the exception I gave it a gun with bullets instead of missiles. I'm gonna make sure you can't spam this unit like you can in RA3, so this unit will be less cost efficent than any of it's peers.

see the other units I have made, I think this one fits in perfectly with them. If you didn't know, this is my style. It's cartoonish, while resembling it's source material.

Not trying to look like a noob here, but have you noticed the jet tengu seems to be based on the old WW2 Mitsubishi Zero Fighter?

Kinda, but not especially, reminds me more of a mid-model mig (19s, back when the air intake was still the whole nose).

Errr, don't quite know what that is, but I have a pretty good idea Rolling Eyes

Anyways, the only reason for it was that you asked for more details, when this mod clearly wants the cartoony style. In other words it lack details on purpose. Don't take it personally, but read the rules or at least have a clue about the mod/forum before responding the way you did.

Of all the models we have, only the Sickle and King Oni are properly animated (not counting the spinning grinders on the Lasher).

I will leave it be for now, I might do some touch ups when I animate this (years from now). It's stance is directly based off of the one it has in WB, I thought it looked more like a cowboy ready to whip out the pistols.

I just want to point out that the mecha tengu and its animations have been released as part of the RA3 Artpack, so using 3ds max and the BFME 2 Mod SDK, you should be able to export the anims as w3d and use them in Gen. Wink

I don't wanna use the tengu model of the original, besides the probablility it's over the poly count, and that I don't have 3dsMax, every other model is hand made by us.

Well, I meant that you should use the animations, not the whole RA3 model.
After all, why spend time making them per hand when you can simply import them?

Transforming animation, or something more that just transforming?

Could do the Tengu as next one to animate.
