I think he's trying to duplicate your Cartographer's Call, Aro.

Now what's with these competitions all over PPM?

Why duplicate another competition? CCC Is a popular one which tends to gather up good entries anyway. Still, a stock map competition? Confused

You're asking the wrong person, Aro.

I think he means a Red Alert 2, and only Red Alert 2, competition.

That could be sort of fun actually. No YR, no TX, just FA2.

I just thought maybe we could see who could come up with the best "Online Playable For Everyone" map! This could be fun guys, lets just do it....Theres still alot of neat and crazy stuff to do with just RA2.

There's like 234 tiberian sun maps in the map archive

There's like 114 red alert 2 maps in the map archive

There's like 72 tiberium wars maps in the map archive

There's like 10 red alert 3 maps in the map archive

There are only 3 generals maps in the map archive

So you tell me, which game needs a mapping competition.

Doing a competition for Generals doesnt just mean there will be a boost in maps made. It means that no one will enter. #Tongue

If your so sure you'd win try the CnC1 mapping comp, its easyer to map than RA2 or TS

check the link on my sig
http://www.cnc-comm.com/community/index.php?topic=430.0

a map editor comes with the xcc mixer (there is a turtorial on how to set it up some were) and there is a map editor in the downloads and if you dont have CnC1 you can download it as it is freeware... Very Happy
