I have XCC Mix open, and I'm trying to change the pallete on a couple of things. Like dgreen01.shp i wanna change it to dropship pallete how to i get it to change and stay using that palette.

The XCC pallets are just for viewing the SHP in it's correct pallet, or whichever one doesn't look any different from in-game. But, since that's not used in-game you would have to put it in. There are tutorials for that, on this site, and others.

To actually change the pallet requires SHP Builder or another type of SHP editor.

And, to make it appear that way in-game, I think you might have to set it to use that pallet somewhere. I don't know about that, so someone else will have to fill you in on that. Wait, IIRC, the SHP itself stores the pallet info, so if you just add it it should appear correctly, given that you'd have to implement it correctly. Yet, again there are tuts for that.

SHP Builder is the only SHP editor that I know of. I do all of my palette swapping in PSP7.
