I have some treats for PPM and its inhabitants the following
C&C Red Alert icon ready in full Vista/7 256x256 beauty (includes low color and regular icon sizes)

If you notice the sickle is kinda wobbly and not perfectly smooth yes I realize (<-American ORLY?) that.

dl @ bottom of post includes .ico .png and.psd files all in 256x256 res

and a WIP I've been working on and off for several months

entirely photoshop vectorized 'cept for the background gradient (I'll probably export it to a real .svg vector in Ai sometime after its finished)

ALSO

ScummVM for the iPod Touch/iPhone is great, but dosbox? Think of the possibilities...

Well since I CAN'T play C&C games on my iPod Touch, for now I'll have to stick with this currently UNMODABLE game called Warfare Incorporated

WI is a RTS (a pretty darn good one too) its a lot like Dune 2000 and Tiberian Sun as you are fighting for control over a substance called galaxite (like spice or tiberium) you are on another planet called Icarius (Dune?) and the game itself is a lot like TD and RA in that the view is almost if not exactly identical. (OH GOD PLEASE LET ME MOD THE F*CK OUT OF IT!!!)
I tried poking around the WI files but I need a tool to open the .PDB which is not available ;(
I can say the pdb file is alot like a .mix...
Anyway, I'll contribute more work to PPM later

Oddly enough, I now realize the icons aren't showing up right when set as the icon for shortcuts in Windows 7 (idk about Vista or XP and such)

I have revised the icons to appear properly and this bundle includes the following icons

No modifications have been made to the images themselves just an icon revision to make them appear better
as an additional note, the icons dimensions are 16x 24x 32x 48x 256x and in 4bit 8bit 24bit and 32bit color

I haven't found a viable solution to achieve the same effect as the original logo, I've been looking for some brushed metal effects but haven't found anything worth while
