Hi, I doubt I'll get any real help here, I never do. BUT might as well try.

ANYWAY, I was sooo close to releasing V1.2 of my mod beta, and I tried adding some snow infantry, so on snow maps, you'll have them (regular soldiers in white camouflage) it worked for the Conscript and Flak trooper. But when I added them for every other unit, I done the same thing, but they were invisible on ALL snow maps. I tried to find out what it was, but couldn't find anything. So I though I'd just delete them, and just have the Conscript and Flak trooper, them being the only ones that worked. But since I deleted the other completely, now, all my new stuff from my mod is Missing Cameo, invisible, and other things. ALL new things. I've tried taking them all out, then putting them in again, I've tried the RA2 YR clean up program lots, I've tried reinstalling YR, and even restarting the mod. Nothing works, always the same. Any help?

I dont know man, all I can say is check it all over again and make sure all the .mix and .ini files are there. Didnt you make a back up copy of your mod? I;m just now starting mine, but if I ever make it as far as you did I think I would have to put it on a disk or something just in case, you know what could happen, as in your case. good luck, hope ya get it fixed.

If I do get it working again, I'll make a backup before I do anything.
The weird thing is that the mod works ok on my brother's computer, yet it doesn't work on mine. Neutral
I don't see why it won't work!Crying or Very sad

We have. It still has the same result. It's not an error on the game. Since we have 3 YRs, I tried installing on of the other ones, but it had the same result. It might be something to do with the hard drive on the PC. I can't think of anything else.

Try making a new mix then put all your mod assets...the problem may be a mix, ingame check the options there is an option to check wich files the game is reading

make sure that you do not have a duplicate file or such hanging around in your ra2 directory with the same name as your mod files. cause you said you were changing things and deleting things you may have accidently dropped something in the ra2 directory such as a corrupted .mix or .ini file from your mod. Cause if it works in your brothers com it should in yours to

You're sure that you haven't replaced your rules with an unmodded version by mistake?

My mod has decided to start working again! I don't know why. But stared the PC up this morning, and it worked... I guess all it needed was to have the PC off for a while Very Happy

Or even better, upload it to the internet and give out regular builds to trusty staff/friends.

Best plan. It saves your work, and they can help you find/fix bugs. I can think of only a few of my things which aren't kicking around flash drive or somewhere on the net.
