Dont know if this is coincidence or what, but ever since I installed Hamachi I cant connect to XWIS anymore. Has anyone else had this problem?

It's not Hamachi. It's RA2's shitty online and network code and XWIS being a whore.

There is no real fix. You could try reinstalling the Shared Internet Components or the games themselves.

yeah, I tried reinstalling both twice now and still get the same results, keeps telling me,looking for server, and then, Cant connect to westwood online please check your internet connection. but my internet connection is working just fine other wise i wouldnt even be here, so hmmm I just dont know...

The way for a true reinstall is completely removing both games, deleting the folder, completely shutting down your machine, bringing it back up and going from there.

Make sure you remove the Internet stuff too. That is most likely borked.

Though for a true acid test, remove Hamachi, reboot and try RA2.

If you installed the LAN patch (wsock32.dll) it messes up online play. Remove it to use FAGwis and use it to play on LAN.

not quite sure what it was, but uninstalled both RA2 and Hamachi at same time, then reinstalled RA2 and now working again. But thanks..

Strange for me it fixed online play as well as Lan play
