It,s actually more complete than you think. So far

19 new voxels
22 new explosion anims
13 new buildings
all new terrain (done except for cliff's)
all new water and shore lines (animated water too)
lot's of new tree's
9 new overlay objects
New Bamboo fences
New tunnels (now vietcong tunnels)
Coding done somewhat. (far from done)
and probably other things I cant remember, but yeah, it's coming along pretty good so far. got a few hang ups trying to deal with right now, but I'm sure they will get fixed

and ya know I got to keep some things secret other wise you'll all know what it's about before you play it Wink

Fire? it aint nothing but fire, how can it be missing fire. maybe if I make the anim last a little longer.

Na, I only have the NapalmStrike as a super weapon for now

Well remember the movie Iron Eagle, how dude did his best work while he played his music? Same here. My mind works best with music, why, I dont know but it just works for me. The song AC/DC If you want blood is a perfect intro song to this mod, trust me! there's different music thru out the mod but all heavy metal. Heavy metal just makes you want to kick ass man. Sorry if ya dont like it.

@Dutchygamer, yea I am still waiting on permissions from certain companies and artists. What ever is in this mod that is not mine will either have permissions and/or be properly credited.

@inzane krazy, it's close enough for a beta-beta version. I need to know where this mod stands. So I will have enough put together so you guys can give me a little more insight and suggestions for it. But yes there is still a lot of work that needs to be done.

I am sorry to inform everyone that my RA2-Vietnam mod is dead. Everything was destroyed in a fire, and I dont think I have it in me to start all over again. It was a good run, and I had an awsome time making it. But to have to start over again from ground zero is just to much. I may be around from time to time, but no more mod.

Yea, had an electrical fire in my computer room. What the fire didnt ruin, the water did. My wife is trying to talk me into redoing it, but I dont know. If I do atleast it will be easier since I already know what to do. But like I said I just dont know if I want to. Maybe after I restore my computer room and get a new com, I might.

Alright, I am back in business, but where to start. I think I will redo my terrain first since that took the frickin longest and it'll take my mind off all the noise going on, "my landlord is fixing the computer room". I told him I would do the work, but for what ever reason, the Insurance Company wont allow me to do it, but oh well, less for me to worry about.

The lighting is wrong, the light comes from the left in RA2 not the right. The door looks too small to, other then that it's ok.

The repetitive texture of the WF is sort of annoying, and lack of minor details (vents, pipes, etc) makes it look very empty.

I need an opinion, does this grass look to bright? should I tone it down, or is it good to go? just asking cause alot of you guy's like darker stuff.

the grass looks toyish and the lats could use some work too (should look smoother.
maybe add some noise to the texture you are using.

I use PSP9 for all my terrain. I'm still searching for the remaining terrain tiles I used before. I have recovered most of them but still missing a few.one of those being my main grass.

? I used Texture Preserve Smooth on it, set at 18, anything more makes it to smooth.

the second one I used 5 different textures to make and most likely will be how I make alot of my terrain for this mod. my goal is to try and blend each and every piece and make it as close as possible to natural. The third is just a 3 texture blend but looks more real than 2nd IMO.
