Can I somehow convert RA3 units for use in RA2?

ummm, yes?
1) get the ra3 models
-either they released them with the sdk, or you have to somehow extract them from the game.
2) convert the models to .3ds
-you gotta have 3dsMax
3) use 3ds2vxl
-and youre done

umm, I know that you have to import the .w3x model, which as mentioned by DNY, is only possible with the pluggin offered by the SDK for 3dsMax. So, unless you're willing to drop some cash for the program (or other means...), I suggest you make the models from scratch, inwhich case you could use blender or anim8or.

Edit: http://www.ppmsite.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22392 I guess you could edit these if you wanted to.

@Dafool, I like the Heli, I just may use it. I'll have to recolor of course, but I think I can fit it in. Thanks....

I don't have 3dsMax at all, so I haven't really read that much into it.
