Are there any .exe patches at all for regular RA2? like an old rock patch or n patch or something? I searched and failed, so I'm hoping someone can give me some good news.

There are no (major?) exe hacks for RA2 as far as I know. However, YR has RockPatch, NPatch and Ares. aka. RP2

Yeah, its not a big deal, I already know how to manipulate the hell outta RA2 inside and out, and "knock on wood" thank goodness I havent had an IE on 98% of my maps, especially a couple I got that the MPR file is so frickin huge that if I had an IE appear and the except file didnt explain the problem I'd be screwed, but I was just hoping that maybe someone out there had created something to make the work a little easier.

If you want a serious mod to be played by more than you and another person on LAN, then go to YR.

RA2 is for LAN mods and XWIS.

Dude, YR is just as much a Lan and xwis game as RA2 is, only difference is YR has exe hacks which allows you to add what a few more things, ooooooooooo! go @#$% yourself!

Oh dear! It appears your brain has crashed. Do you want me to dial technical support?

*yawn* YR has more options, compared to RA2 it has much more flexibility. Who'd exe hack RA2 as a base when YR is out there and so much better?

Why does everyone always take the subject outta context.

This:If you want a serious mod to be played by more than you and another person on LAN, then go to YR.
RA2 is for LAN mods and XWIS.

has absolutley nothing to do with the subject! Period....

besides that, So LT where were all the hackers Before YR became available? I still say there is a hack out there that either no one knows about or the person who did hack it just dosent wanna share. But as I mentioned above " IT IS NOT A BIG DEAL" it was just a simple question that needed a simple answer, thats all nothing else.

Nobody knew how to add suff until a while after YR's release, so the only things before that were re-adding the 3rd campaign button and other simple 'find the difference' tasks.

People probably tend to leave Ra2 alone partly because of YR having more logics but also because Ra2 is a generally better game. Doesn't need to be modded. YR on the other hand: a lot of people dislike gameplay elements + its got more stuff to play with = win win.
