Here is CABAL's MBT, the Slayer tank. My brother (here know as [TiberianPast]) made it first in Anim8tor, and then it was edited by me to it's final form in voxel editor.

A small update to Plasm-artillery: improved texture a bit and tried to make normals better, but that didn't turn out so well... but they are still a bit better than previous normals (or are they? Rolling Eyes ).

All comments are welcome, for both vehicles (please comment Slayer too).

It certainly is an improvement, but there's a lot to improve. #Tongue

Hey, you can try to get a scanner light animation on the unit visor, like KIT in Knight Rider.

I think it will look better if it was in a darker grey.
I don't really like the slayers design...

Although, maybe give it some legs and make a shp of it?

Ok so I made the artillery darker, as well as edited the normals a bit more. Idk about the animation, it would stop always when the vehicle stop moving (as all HVA animations do), so it wouldn't look so cool...

Nah with legs it'd look to much like c reaper, and treads aren't looking so bad, are they? The thing I'm not sure about in it's design are the spikes, I could try to test how it looks without them.

Personally, I think you need to lighten the thing up.



WW already gave CABAL a main colour, light metal... and an "eye hue", light blue.

It was too dark, yes, so I tried that metal colour, and it looks pretty nice so I might stick with it. As for the 'eye' color; I don't really like that defender blue so red will stay (also red is more evil looking than light blue Twisted Evil ).

i think it need a bit shading ... try to use various levels of color brightness...
that may balance out the bad TS normals a bit

Nod already uses red.

Besides, light blue can be very very evil. Just go watch the future scenes in the Terminator films, where those Hunter-Killers are flying over the battlefield with their search-light eye...

Dark grey/black is taken by Nod so I can't use them for CABAL.

Yeah, but Nod uses it as team color and CABAL as eye color so it should be no problem.


I have something new to show: the 'Terminator' sniper drone, and less-black-dotted/lined Plasm-artillery can be seen, too.
