-wrong internal name (the one between the [ ] brackets) which doesn't match the filename of the vxl/hva
-mixed up uppercase and lowercase characters in the internal name (C&C is case sensitive)
-forgot to add the vxl/hva to the game
-corrupt mix file
-forgot to add the unit to the vehicletypes list
-you have 2 C&C's and add the unit to one while testing the other
-your pc doesn't likes you
-a bit said "no" and changed from 1 to 0 which made the unit invisible
...

looked at the filename
found the problem
CARRIERNSCV..vxl with 2 points can't work
