Is it possible to change/replace the default campaign team/faction colors? If the allies are blue, soviets are red and japan is yellow. Can i replace them with any colors?

I know its possible in multiplayer through editing the multiplayerColore.xml. The PlayerTemplates.xml contains campaign team colors but does not affect the game even if modded.

any help here?
