I was wondering if there is a way to make it so my infantry can get to the shrouded parts on day one. Also on day two is there a way to get a working war factory to build units. I would like to have the soviet con truck and see if i could use it to make the soviet base.

EDIT: How do i make it so my unit i made change color to the team color

Besides map editting, on training mission 1 there is a engineer that comes out if you destroy the conyard and then you use it to repair the bridge beyond the derelict tank (or use it for the first bridge and the granted engie for the second). You then get a Nighthawk on the other side. As far as day 2 goes, idk. Btw why are you asking about the Training Missions? As far as the team color goes, use the remap section of the pallete (the bigger red section)

I'm asking about the training mission because there good for testing mods and i always wanted to see what i could do with them. I have figured out the war factory but when its built no new options start up just leaves the setup the same.

Try map editting, it's probably tech level or ini codeing. Or just make a skirmish map with all three conyards near one start and wall another start and put the AI there, works like TS. (make 0 starting units so they only have the MCV)

I have seen a post about someone editing a map to make 500 by 500. I know you can use the notepad to make a 100 by 400.....i have been told that you can go as high as 250 by 250. But I have yet to see it done. I heard it was possible with VK editor but once again I have yet to see one done. I know WARDEATHFUN on Revora has a tut on this

I use FA2 map editor. It lets me go to 1000X1000 if I want. But there is a warning of lag.

Which is understandable. #Tongue Really, it allows you to do that? AFAIK (I can't check it) anything above 256 x 256 isn't allowed, but vk has a patched version of FA2 which can go up to 500 x 500 and which he never released.

where in the hell did you get a FA2 that lets you make a map that big? I have 5 versions of FA and not one lets you go that big, hmmm, I want it!

The YR engine doesn't handle large maps like that.

Try opening it in a hex editor and search for the limit, if you can find it you can change it to something with the same number of numbers in it (so 999 for example). Try it and I'll reward you cookie points, succeed and I'll reward you double. Don't do it at all and I'll give you Burnt Toast points. Redeemable at your nearest supermarket or toaster.

eh, your probably right. Anyone want the Burnt Toast points?To redeem 'em just stick a peice of bread in you toaster turn it to the max setting and wait til' it's finished. Best way IMO to redeem Burnt Toast points.
