Elite and Veterancy

A question: If a unit has Elite=*insert weapon* and EliteAbilities=FIREPOWER,ROF defined, does the firepower bonus affect the Elite weapon when the unit becomes an Elite? Or does it only affect Primary= ?

yep, it affects the Elite weapon too.
Also any FIREPOWER,ROF on the veteran status will improve the Elite= weapon.
That's why you should choose either the bonus or the Elite weapon, but not both as it could make the elite weapon overpowered.
