i just finish laser trooper and now in testing but i get IE every time i send him fight with pillbox. i try to check on weapon/graphic code but i cant found any problem i dont think this problem curse by Npatch because it's just infantry with laser gun non of special logic.

90% of the time when the game IE's when trying to attack something it's in the weapon code. Can you post the code so we can take a look at it.

here you are, only NP logic i use is laser size and many unit in my mod use laser with this logic but look like only this unit get problem.

well I tested your weapon on a few different infantry and worked fine, code looks good also, so it must be in the Art code of your infantry. if ya dont mind can ya post the rules and art entires also?

i just talk with Apollo he said "Sparky=yes" is reason. and when i turn it to "no" look like IE have solve.

n/p, but I used it with Sparky=yes and worked fine, but then again im using stock RA2 not YR with NPatch

he said i got IE because i use sparky=yes with out

OnFire=FIRE3,FIRE2,FIRE1
SmallFire=FIRE3
LargeFire=FIRE2

You need to add the tag OnFire to AudioVisual and have I believe 3 anims theres. If OnFire isnt present Sparky won't work.

Never would have figured this one through the except anyway. The NPatch mangled it to all hell. The last good EIP register was in calling a warhead with CellInset. >_>
