ive made a copy of a USAF MQ9 Reaper Drone what i want to do with it is use it as a spy drone that hovers over oppstions base.

but i want the game like fog of war so shroud always gose back after unit has moved i want to do this for all units and make it quite small so to see the game screen you need to use a radar tank and the drone to navagate to map wich will have better sight ranger

sorry, but as far as i know, you can't make fog of war in RA2.

You can, just give something neutral that can't be captured on the map a Gap Generator with 256 or more range.

Well many people said and came to the conclusion that FoW in RA2 is really bad, so what you can do instead is use shrouds, like what you see in Allied gap generators.

Just basically use the gap generators coding in regards to shrouds and add those tags (i forgot which ones) to major buildings i.e. conyard, powerplants, wf and barracks. And the shrouds should have very high range; 100 is good

The only thing is that gap generators and spy sats. are useless. It also causes some lag, but its subtle. But strangely enough, as I play Ra2 like this more and more, it gets less laggy over time. Shocked

Spy Sat's wouldn't be useless if you gave them a sight of 256 or more. However, SpySat=yes would be useless.

Incorrect. This IS an insta-crash in TS. In RA2 it will be auto-rounded to 10. (Veteran bonuses increasing sight range beyond 10 however is still crash)

Oh yeah, I forgot that, it's mentioned in the veteran stat improivement part of the rules...A hard code vegas crash if I remember correctly, what do they mean with that by the way?

Going over 10 by veteran bonuses causes a Div by 0. (Same style of error occurs for giving JumpJetWobbles = 0 )

It's better for the game's sanity to keep out of such things. (Instead, try using large Sight=10 ranges for everything or remove Shroud altogether if you wish. [Contrary to the DESUPPORTED claim in rules.ini Shroud=no does in fact work])

Yeah, I activated that for my mod too, it's going to be a gamemode though, but it's quite handy when testing things.
