Tiberian Sun is Ten

Tib Sun has hit puberty. Its ten years old. Can you believe its ten years already? Christ. I can't.

Well really its the 24th but ztype that. So how are we all celebrating? I for one will be going through the GDI campaign (lol) and beating it again like its 1999.

ps I don't like TS but for the love of god keep the EA/Westwood drama the ztype out and shit. This is just a TS thread. Let it remain such.

Well, I need to find where the themes are stored for Tiberian Sun (like, in RA2 it's theme, YR thememd, but for TS and FS I can't find it). So if anyone could help... #Tongue

If you mean the music, it's in scores.mix and scores01.mix (both of which are hidden in tibsun.mix and expand01.mix) Wink

Really? No Mercy is that track with Kane saying things like 'prepartions' and talking about the world altering missile and in the end you hear some shouting and I believe something like 'a tiberium future', and 'show no mercy, mercy is for ???' is repeated a few times, right? I swear I've heard that in TS or FS...I guess I'll find out. #Tongue

No Mercy is from TD, but elements of it are used in Nod FMVs, since it is kinda their theme.

Huh?, nobody mentioned theme.ini before you did. Though yes, I do, just to add the songs some people made for the mod. But I use iTunes/Windows Media Player, while playing, not a personal preference, just to keep my iPod organized, and not to have several different music players.

Well he was referring to the actual files, and not the list, as far as I can tell. Probably for extracting the files from the mix.

On relation to that, check the CDs.

I've got TFD. I said themes, because of theme.mix and thememd.mix. If I just said music or sound, people might have thought I wanted unit voices / weapon sounds / whatever. Of course, I could also have said soundtrack but well...

And yes, I edited thememd.ini too. It's much more hassle firing up WinAmp or something everytime then it is to edit 1 single file. Plus a mod needs a soundtrack. #Tongue
