Do they use different textures or I can get the same result using only lightning options?

lighting: effects of light placement and distortion/reflection on an object.

lightning: large, visible electrostatic discharge between positive and negative particles, usually occurs in storms.

Get it right. for the love of god.

I have a HUGE pet peeve about that.


anywho, try a combination of bump maps, materials, lighting, and uvw mapping to achieve the results.

It's all only done by different lighting. No one creates different textures for each setting.
