was taking a break from mod and just screwing around. It's functionable, but art work not done and only 50% anim done and no build up yet. It's not for my mod so if anyone wants it, it'll be here shortly

...until you use Ares' custom foundations feature. Then this would be wonderful to see ingame.

The only things i see that bother me are the remap spots (you can tell you made this in FA2) and the brown wavy fadeout. Make it more professional and fit to RA2.

Arvin, maybe you should stop being so negative about the matter. I have extremely high doubts about you knowing much of anything about Ares. Until pd releases the custom foundation tool, we won't know the limits.

Why should anyone want a big building that has nothing new and is only a composition of existing buildings?

The only good thing is the runway, but that would be better as terrain tiles too.

So without having any positive sideeffect, i would say that such a buildings is fail.

I agree as well, Bigtime failure....... I tried everything I could to make it work but, results were horrible! I am now working on one that will be confined inside the 6x4 limits, and this one has 5 docking ports instead of normal 4. Yes it works, already coded it, tried it and tested it.

That looks good, just remove the barrels,replace it with something else, like a hangar or a bigger helipad, and its also kinda strange to have a tech center infront of your landing strip...

you can get close to the same effect of this building via placing structures close together in fa2. so I say why make this unless your bored.. of wait Laughing

@MigEater, It's not to big to be usable. It has a foundation of 6x4 and shows up ingame perfectly.

If you guys look closely, every part has something different, like the tech build has a stairway in front of it and radars on the top posts, the air control tower is merged with the landing strip and also has a new radar dish attached. and I thought the barrels were ugly there to. they were already going to be removed. But this is far from finished wait till you see the end results, you guys will like it.

It's very unrealistic.
No one would ever place a high building at the end of a runway. An aircraft crash into the building is almost sure.

If I look closely I see a gigantic gap in the buildings where white was replaced by transparency, and I see that the edges of the flags got mixed up with remap, giving them blue pixels. I also see enormous areas filled with a single grey colour for no apparent reason.

Sorry, but there isn't much good I can say about this. Even for a copy-paste job, it fails most epicly.

In the game where everything is V/tol?

I'd use it instead of my normal Advance AFC.

copy and paste jobs are fine but if its something to obvious like this then it sucks.... i mean nothing looks like it had any real work done, just a battlelab with other peices next to each oter... you can almost have the same result building them next to each other.

Even after the low remarks that are being made to a building that wasnt even worked on yet, "which is some funny crap, and yet some of ya probably dont even know how to c/p, cause ya see you cant just c/p and say "alright" to me c/p includes all the anims that must go with it" which this one has four. 1 done, 1 50%, and the other 2 the buildup and damage are next. But anyway the show must go on! heres a crappy gif of it 50% done
