Is there any way to enable the CloakStop ability to a unit? It's supposed to cloak the unit once it stops moving. However it doesn't seem to be doing anything. A quick search on the forum tells me Westwood never implemented this feature to the game. Is there any fan made patch or something that makes it possible? Or any other workaround to make a unit behave similar to it?

right now i only know 2 possible workarounds
The first (which works on a human player only) is a shp unit which has a clear frame instead of a standing frame.

The other is a deployer unit which can cloak when deployed.

The first option would actually be really sweet if you removed all of the standing frames except the outer pixels, so it looks like there's an outline of a person. Would look similar to the Predator's adaptive camoflage.

Either that or just make the standing frames invisible and make the shadows the shape of a man.

yep, that would be a nice addition.
Maybe you can even make it so that it is half-transparent while moving, using one of the cloakingstages. This would give a nice incomplete camouflage effect that would work great for a Predator as OmegaBolt has mentioned.

In the mean time, if you check that, you could check Emperor: Battle for Dune's cloak stop, in which, units like the scouts are cloaked when they are still and/or move short distances, becoming visible after moving for a while without stopping.
This was useful, since you could move them to avoid having them crushed by a tank, without revealing their position.
