Hello again,I have some question's to ask about 3ds max:

-I am making zero from MMZX game,however,i need to make a particle that illuminate's the the shadow of the sword he has,how to do that?. Rolling Eyes

-I am making the swordy virus from MMBN,how to make and animate the flame that the sword has?.

As was I.

I've just started working with 3DS Max, and I think I'm getting really good at it.
Can someone link me to some newb friendly / up to date tutorials on how to render your model into .shp, with all the settings?
Also how to effectively convert it to .vxl, although I believe various programs does that just fine.

I know some russian guy made a plugin, which was later translated. I'd love to use it, I just can't find it. I hope it works with the latest version of Max (it should).

AUGH.

Why does ALL useful plugins for 3ds Max have to be made for the old versions Sad
I have 2010. I've already looked all over for version 5 so I could use some old Art Tools, and now the RA2 ToolSet needs even older (although I believe it should work in version 5 too, still annoying as hell)...

At that tutorial should do the trick. I'd just prefer to have it done an easier way :/
I could have sworn that the plugin I saw was made for newer versions...
^EDIT: Second time I browse trough years worth of Site News to find it... Could someone help? It was in russian, but was patched English about a week later I think...

Woe unto Autodesk for rewriting the plugin script thingies...
They could have made support for old ones ;_;
