Sorry to say, but I think they are bad You have lost all the detail now, and only the Cyborg Commando is black; all other Nod units are grey like they where... QUICK_EDIT

man, if you make GIF previews, make sure they keep the original palette. Especially for infantry. All non-remap in these previews looks 100% black. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
I added 2 new units to it, Cyborg Commando and Cyborg Reaper, I like the reaper though. The light infantry is in progress, I'll post it after I finished it.
EDIT: sorry, something's wrong with my internet, I'll post it tomorrow. QUICK_EDIT
I recolored them so that they look like the ones in those types of wallpapers and such. It's okay with me if you don't like them, I don't mind. Just a few minutes of simple recoloring.
EDIT:Yeahs, there's no enhancement, but it's just that it looks nicer in black and red instead of gray and red. QUICK_EDIT

As in, using TS's unittem palette? Because I always use red alert's, the background blue so I can see the pixels better.
Oh, that doesn't matter, it's stil the same basic palette. I'm talking about making sure your final animated GIF still has that exact palette. A lot of animated GIF generators just kick out the original palette and "optimize" the palette with their own algorythms, even if all base images were already using the same 256-colour palette. I hate that -_-
Though in your case, it just seems to use one generic awful palette without even looking at the original colours. I checked another GIF you posted and it has exactly the same pal. What do you use to make these?

left is original RA2 palette, right is the palette of the animated GIF you posted.
Try using GIMP or a similar graphic editor to convert your image into a GIF for previewing.
I simply use the SHP Builder to export frames to PNG (I usually don't include shadow frames in the preview). Then I use GIMP's feature "open as layers" which opens all the frames into one layer. Finally I crop the image and save it is GIF. QUICK_EDIT
