Okay, I've been commenting all my code for better structure.
Now, I want some ideas on how the AI should be modifiable and built, while I continue working.
For example, should I use, like C&C, Taskforces and scripts, triggers, and teamtypes?
How does you want the threat evaluation to be?
Should they have one? Should the AI also include buildings, where to place them and similar?

Look at Tiberian Sun's AI when it comes down to your design ideas. It can be pretty nasty if coded well. I'd ask more AI coders around, though. They'll have more info to make the AI better. QUICK_EDIT

Make AI generals that scan the whole map for threats,then they summ up the threats and make a number.The more the number is the more agreesive,scouting,annoying they will be.
Each general will have different specialities.So,one will try to build more tanks,others more soldiers or helicopters.
Or you can try to make it like that,AI sums only those units that he saw,he doesnt count those that are in unrevealed terrain.
He sums up threats seperatly for each enemy.Construction yard gives extra points and some other "special" units too.
If the threat number is beyond 100,perhaps,then AI will try to crush the enemy.
Also you may give special tags to units like,tank,soldier,air unit and give some extra threat points for that too.Like,soldier threat point = 1,air unit threat pont = 10.
AI could use those tags to select forces that will be more effective,like attacking buildings with tanks or helicopters against infantry. _________________ Lost Relic[mod] Lost Relic[game] QUICK_EDIT

I've been thinking of adding "Zones" into the maps, which allows further gameplay options. For example, a "Forest zone" you might place in (Ta-daa) forests, and specific units may be better in these zones, for example, a camouflaged sniper might get cloaked when in a forest zone.
Furthermore, pathfinding is complete, units use correct animations when walking/standing still, code is commented for my own sake, variable height works, particles works. This might run slow on slow computers.
Particles and moving lots of units MIGHT be a potential source of lag. I'm thinking up ways to be able to stop the lag before it is occuring! ;P
Still, need suggestions. Multiple lasers fired from different places on units in a single weapon? Walking higher up gives better sight? _________________ Hallå hallå!

Lightness/darkness affecting unit sight. Units under spotlight/otherwise lighted areas have shorter range/sight than units in shadows/darker areas. Also, if possible, make units have longer range/better sight at a target that is under a spotlight.

Game-wise, (not engine wise), I have decided this RTS will be named "Project".
The main two sides will be named the GPU and the HB.
