little more help please?

I'm not sure if both these exe's are supposed to be running, I think it may be the cause of why the game crashes and may be the cause of other problems too. can someone tell me?

Uhh.... is "Yuri's Revenge - NPatch" the installation EXE? And show us the except.txt

Sigh. The "Yuri's Revenge - NPatch" program thingy is only the internal error box. It definitely does not cause the error, the error causes it.

o.k. that was a dumb question, but since your so smart, then you should have known that the except is unreadable seeing how it happens AFTER the game closes down. Thus why no except is posted! but if you want I can copy/paste the whole damn thing so you can look at all the cool question marks. Rolling Eyes

@MT, I'm not clear on your response either, I said it "may be" the problem, not that it acutually caused the error, I asked if they both where supposed to be running at same time, and the error appears after I try to shut down game. it goes thru the motions of shutting down, where it says "are you sure you want to exit, I click yes then screen goes black and I have to use ctrl,alt,delete to get out and thats when the error pops up.

I posted this error about 4 times to VK over various revisions, the game IE's on exit if you have saved a game and under some other conditions I wasn't able to narrow down when the npatch is installed. I'm guessing it doesn't happen for everyone or more complaints would have been raised. Perhaps it is related to adding additional terrain such as with the TX or with your experiments. Without VK actually giving a damn about this long standing bug you are out of luck.
