Joshy image isn't clear. Can not see the detail. Looks ok despite that.
LKO looks good, not into the space type fighters.

well i hate to say this, but it looks like you missed IceDragon's entry on page 3 of the original competition thread SDKH... dont know if you're going to want to make another voting thread or not but i'd consider it QUICK_EDIT
forgive me if i'm wrong, but I didn't include Ice dragons because I thought it wasn't an official entry. He just showed one Image, no WIPs and I think used segments from other models he's done.

I dont know really what make's mammoth's and normal tank's get that much,voting should be thought about more deeply,i mean if you knew how much effort have it been put for each one,you'll know wich one is to deserve it,the ant is very hard to make you know,leg's can be copied and rotated from the first made one but still,the head and the body?.

i dont care for any of your comment's,i do know how hard it is,i am a biggener in 3dsmax,with a little push up to semi-intermediate,still thought of my low experince,i know it's going to be easier when you model a lot,eventually,you well end up unable to do something stupid.
also this is not a time to fight,thank's for saying shut up,but i still say LKO has the best.

Good atmosphere, which the modelling work obviously achieves in conjunction with the lighting. Even considering it without the lighting, however, it's still a good scene with plenty of well done models. QUICK_EDIT

Shockingly I can relate to what he's saying though. I personally don't see why so many people are voting for PaulZy's entrant cause in comparison to some of the others (Joshy's, LKO's, Ickus's), it just doesn't compete in my opinion. It's still a good model non-the-less, though a better scene and texture would probably of done the model itself a lot more justice. In fact, now I look at all of the models again, they're all let down by the textures. Joshy's soldier isn't textured at all from what I can see (would definitely be a lot better if it was), LKO's cyborg is textured, but the purple-like camo doesn't do it any justice in my opinion, Ickus's ant could of done with a lot more organic texture (still this is my favorite model in the texture criteria), Crevio's is just not textured at all and neither is VEF's. I personally think that if either LKO or VEF had time to properly texture their models, they'd of won a lot more votes. QUICK_EDIT

Now the list is complete, sad that vefbl4's model isn't texture and that twisted Grand Cannon Mech is dead as dodo...
New image of GDI soldier is much better than previous although still dark a bit.
To that texture thing: there is only model with detailed texture, made by SDKH.
BTW, I haven't voted and dunno if I even should.
@Aro: As I wrote the only finished texture is on wheels and tracks, the rest was done in hurry, so there are finished cameras and windows, there is some camo and fake reflection.
The scene was done in few minutes, so I even forgot to change one material tag from Plastic to Colour and I even lost antennas due to crash (and forgot on them).
If I had more free time, I would finish texture, have there right reflection, right lights, even normal map...
And it would be set on rocky terrain to show how treads tilts when going through...
You can just guess what could be.

Alright, just some comments.
Seeing Joshy's new image is very well presented. Posing and character, while still dark the lighting setup still makes it a worthwhile look, especially on the far left. Although I do think a presentation focusing on the model itself would make it more BA.
SDKH, a gruesomely nice piece. Composition, flame effects and detail. Poor fellow though. I only see perhaps lighting up the corridor around him, allowing it to continue to draw the viewer to the figure, instead inky black frame.
LKO, nice model and posing. Specularity on the textures reminds me of shiny iridescent insects. ^__^. Although the setting is a bit off. Ground textures and bright daytime setting seem to clash with the characters? Maybe a field of flowers would suit their personalities better. :p
Ickus, your model....oohh wait..
vefbl4, exceptional model and nice warm lighting. This presentation simple, yet professional. Now just leaves the viewer wanting to see it in action.
partyzanPaulZy, good efforts, rendering reminds me of older 3d graphics. While seemingly dated this is a compliment. Model came out well, I would suggest now focusing on lighting and texturing improvements maybe some fur to take it farther. It has mammoth in its veins.
Crevio, admirable efforts, but not sure in the decal. cool idea but not sure if it helps. What really would make this stand out is giving your tank a setting. While inanimate, they still have character. It doesn't have to be a OMGbattlefield but something lil to tell a story. Maybe you can have a family of them, make some copies and scale them down to make baby tanks! ^__^ _________________ Delirium.. QUICK_EDIT

Well it's again another twin cannon tank, texture isn't the best, but turret is boxy just a bit and I thought 72k polygons is pretty much...
Also I think that cargo Orca has accurate number of polygons, too.
In both cases it needs just better surface on main parts.
On the other hand I appreciate your criticism.

EDIT: I think I will finish my model, which means some touches in the back (just cosmetical), improving texture and so... and better lighting. Just for some eye candy on Scores.shp or so. _________________

Why are people whining because someone else do not have the same opinion as them?
This is about skill and presentation, not ztyping generic tanks. The Mammoth, while good, is not presented nearly as well as Joshy's battle scene and Ickus's... uh... thingy. The rest are pretty dull, no offense to anyone.

Not to mention he modeled quite a few infantry, a couple of tanks, and some buildings. IIRC, he can't open his model in 3dsmax and move the camera or it crashes. QUICK_EDIT
