Intoxication: The rivers and waterfalls in this area were once a booming attraction for tourists and the green hills around created a perfect place for new families to live and grow old. All that changed forever when Tiberium began stretching it's malicious fingers over the city. Soon Globotech arrived to secure the population against the poisoning, however after years of heavy Tiberium and mutant incursions, not even Globotech could protect the citizens. Now all that is left are pockets of human life and the huge Globotech protection walls left as a bitter reminder that Man is dominant no more.

The landmark waterfalls are now dirty and corrupted by the anomalous Thorn Infestation. Tiberium mutations roam the hills freely, often seen using the waterway as a passage through the more difficult terrain. The water itself is undrinkable and the Thorns thriving there have begun demolishing any remainders of the city with their subterranean networks.

Now that are the kind of walls I wanted GloboTech to have! Excellent work, the map looks good!

IMO, the walls don't fit very well - the rest of the civilian stuff looks totally different.
If it meant to be Globotech, then why is the rest of the Globotech stuff so high tech, compared to these concrete palisades?

Uhh yeah... high tech concrete.

You know not every CAN be high tech. Somethings should be practical, else they'd never function as a business.

But they look so... odd. They don't fit the surroundings.
Maybe it's just me.

Nah, I do agree with you that the walls look different to the majority of the civilian surroundings (they look good with my factory though), but I Suppose in a way it's a good thing as they're suppost to look more in-tact than the rest of the civilian stuff.

Alright, that does make sense.

You're absolutely certain that the walls couldn't be altered to have a bit of noticeable shiny metal?

I'm sure the weather weathered it already, Orac. #Tongue

They could look good with a GloboTech-ish texture... I could ask LKO to see how it looks.

This is one of the best maps I've seen so far. It looks detailed, a lot of work has been put in to it.

as said in the staff forum, this is an EXCELLENT map. I love it.

BTW, Aro, is there a special version of final sun that goes with TI? If so, I need it. (I don't have any final sun, but i enjoy mapping in my spare time)

Awesome as always, awesome as always.

I personally think TI will turn out better than TO. While close, the graphics (TO has more artistic but TI has more stylish) and maps will be unmatched.
