does it need the hva turret offset ?
can somebody explain what leptons are.
how should i know what the turret off set is?

There's 1024 leptons in a cell, leptons pretty much being an individual pixel. As far as the offset, just take a guess, and play around with it until it looks good. AFAIK, you can just offset it with HVA Editor instead of using TurretOffset.

TurretOffset is also purely numerical and has nothing to do with hva animations at all.

It measures in leptons (as 4SG said, 1024 of them per cell) where the turret component is placed on the voxel/shp. Default is center of body.

A TurretOffset will offset the turret anim location even if there is no defined turret! (such as no turret voxel, still must be Turret=yes for offsets to work)
