I have a weird problem with Generals. I used to have it on my comp but never played with it, just tried it and it worked OK. Since than we replaced our TNT2 card to a GF4Ti card, I've reinstalled the game and it gives me an error message: Sorry, serious problem occured!
I have DirectX 9.0 and the latest NVidia display drivers installed, so what else can be the problem?

I think not, it's an Abit BH6 1st generation Slot1 motherboard. Abit Siluro GF4 Ti4200 128MB graphics card, Intel CeleronII@992Mhz, 456MB SDRAM, WinXP Pro. It worked with the TNT2 card, since than only the graphics card was changed. And I installed DirectX9+different display drivers.

Try re rooting the bpass code to the sysyem flag grogger and then fly the code to the netflag and set up the hardgap.

The motherboard is from Abit, but the chipset isnt from Abit. Abit does not produce chipsets. You might be using one from VIA or from AMD. Check the manual that comes with your motherboard to know the answer. VIA chipset users usually have problems with Generals. If you have a VIA Chipset, you can solve your problems with the attachment below, the VIA Latency patch made by George E. Breese.

I've checked the user's manual:
Intel 440BX chipset (82443BX and 82371EB)

EDIT: Can somebody explain what TerroR wrote?

Hmmm... did you upgraded the drivers from the video card or just have the original ones? If you have the original, update it. If you have updated ones, reinstall the original that is usually more stable... check if it helps...
