So there are two problems I am bothered by at this moment :
1: IE. EIP:00B964A0
2: What is the string name for the little text above the loading bar on the battle loading screen(NOT THE GAME LOADING SCREEN). I have seen other mods incorporate this while Westwood left it blank... EX: Loading..., Loading Star Strike v1.1..., Now Loading..., Please Wait...
3: How do you make a survival mod map? All I need is the House name, when I set the invading house to be civilian, MY units don't automatically defend from it... like it is insignificant or something (Which is NOT for I used Rhino tanks and all that...).
4: I have noticed that some infantry sequences or SHP vehicles move a bit too fast and acts out its anims way too fast, how do I slow that down?
So, as you have noticed, I have not been online for a long time due to me not having internet installed in my newly bought house... Well, thanks for at least reading this! QUICK_EDIT
1-dont know, related to the map your playing or the last change you made.
2-use xcc mixer's string editor and search for that word you find to the right of the tool bar,it's case sensitive, also dont forget the space(e.g if it says game loading then that's all,but Game Loading is different).
3-make the invader any but the civilian,as it's hard coded that way i think, make it a new house that has it's side and mother set to some normal team (nod and russia for example).
4-this is because your PC is fast, press ESC and slow the games speed a bit. _________________ if you need help shpping, voxeling, doing 3ds,just call me on sm.949@hotmail.com QUICK_EDIT
Use an ini checker (forgot who made it) one your inis. If it was the map, and especially was a custom map. Then your out of luck for easy location of error. QUICK_EDIT
1. Because fixing an internal error DOES require you to ask someone to decode it. There was a time not too long ago were we didn't have the entire game decoded and people found these issues by simple testing of one thing at a time. While it was slow and time-consuming, it works.
2. XCC Mixer --> Launch --> XCC String Table Editor --> Red Alert 2 / Yuri's Revenge --> Search: Loading
The main screen "Loading" is the same as the one used in Skirmish loading screens.
3. Open up a survival map and look yourself. That's not against the rules. It's how we figured out how to do singleplayer campaigns - from Westwood.
4. http://modenc.renegadeprojects.com/WalkRate For your vehicles.
New infantry should play their animations just as fast as regular infantry do. It's all played at the same speed. More information on "faster" is needed.
I helped someone who could have easily found all of this by using Search. Guess I'm a hero now. Go me! QUICK_EDIT
To m7: yes...yes... you are quite the modder... I guess I won't use the loading thing cause it won't fit against my glslmd.shp, and I'm too lazy to change that... What was that about single player...? Never mind, so do I just add a simple house that is allied with itself??? I'll try the WalkRate thing, but ModEnc said it to be on rulesmd.ini, that is... right... right?
To DTX: yes, it is NPatch, I wish I'm a programmer but I am sadly not. Here is the whole except.txt, hope something pops out. I could even give you that mission I made if you want to look at it.
Also, for some reason, I can't find Deezire's Guide anywhere... even ModEnc's extra link to download was broken... some one give me the correct link please? QUICK_EDIT

You're in luck. I downloaded the entire INI guide a long time ago.
It's somewhat old (2-3 years?) and some of the information is inaccurate compared to what's on ModEnc, but it's all here.
thanks man, also, why does PrismSupport sometimes destroy 2000 strength vehicles with just a shot? The vehicle had DeathWeapon=WeakNukePayload and blew up... QUICK_EDIT
PrismSupportModifier= is usually set to only 150% of damage (far weaker than the campaign maps). In campaign maps its set far higher.
I'm assuming you are playing a retail mission in this yes? PrismSupportModifier= from rules.ini is recognized and held to in Skirmish and other modes. QUICK_EDIT
it's a known bug, it can't read the value from the map, so does absolute damage, it's fixed in Ares. other than that, you'll have to fix it yourself by re-stating the value in every map. _________________ MIdAS - Turning wages into beer since 2002 QUICK_EDIT
Alright, that is relatively easy since it is just a champaign... any ideas on the other problems?
Also, I made an upgrade for GAGAP to make it have Stealth Generator, but when I put GapGenerator=no and StealthGenerator=yes and StealthRadiusInCells=10 it still is a gap generator when upgraded... any ideas?
I do actualy have a very early version of pd's debugger, that i was gonna use for the base of HyperPatch, though i like assembly over C++, but im considering porting in the future. QUICK_EDIT
