So? Smile

As I've seen at C&C official site and Derelict Studios, only Phoib tried to do that. Anyone else tried, and unlike him or me, succeeded?

You would make them the same as cnc3. Open templates folder in SageXml & look for Squad.xml Smile

Hmm, thanks. Smile Overlooked it.

I have an error now:
"[00:00:02.3437500] Critical: XML validation error encountered in 'd:\ra3 mod sdk\mods\alm\data\alliedantiinfantryinfantrysquad.xml':
XML validation error encountered in file:///d:/ra3 mod sdk/mods/alm/data/alliedantiinfantryinfantrysquad.xml (line 0, position 0):
The element 'GameObject' in namespace 'uri:ea.com:eala:asset' has invalid child element 'ArmorSet' in namespace 'uri:ea.com:eala:asset'. List of possible elements expected: 'LocomotorSet, Buildable, ThingClass, BuildFadeInOnCreateList, BuildVariations, EquivalentTo, DisplayColor, Flammability, SkirmishAIInformation, Draws, Behaviors, AI, Body' in namespace 'uri:ea.com:eala:asset'."

Hmm, all names containing "squad" were replaced (plus the weapon). What did I wrong? The squad file enclosed.

PS Strange, now it passed when I deleted Armor parameter. I'll check later if it all works.
PPS Nope. It doesn't even show the button image... as if the squad/unit wasn't declared.

[The attachment deleted.]

-_-

Please, you didn't even download the file I attached.

SelectPortrait="Portrait_AlliedAntiInfantryInfantry"
ButtonImage="Button_AlliedAntiInfantryInfantry_on"

They were included.

Edited only them, and EALAModStudio given the above error. -_-

PS One CommandSet was wrong, corrected, still nothing in-game, lol. x-D

Practically no difference, since both WinZip and WinRAR read all the common archive filetypes. Wink

So? Smile

Hmm, Peacekeeper Squad just doesn't show on the sidebar.

I corrected:
CommandSet="AlliedAntiInfantryInfantrySquadSQUADCommandSet"
and it's now:
CommandSet="AlliedAntiInfantryInfantrySquadCommandSet"

But it changes nothing...

LOL, overlooked your edited post: "You need the standard peacekeeper commandset :laugh:"

But how? E.g. GDI Grenade Soldier Squad has something like this:
GDIGrenadeSoldierSquadCommandSet
(the same in LogicCommand.xml, and LogicCommandSet.xml, there's always Squad added)

I found this update in which someone has successfully made an infantry squad in RA3, and even got a source download for the try:
http://forums.commandandconquer.com/jforum/posts/list/28861.page

However, there are a few problems with an infantry squad:
1) If the prime unit of the squad is dead, the rest of the squad is dead.
2) The squad cannot garrison a structure all in one time, instead the prime unit is.
3) When changing the secondary ability, only the prime unit can use it and the squad use the original weapon.
4) The squad doesn't follow the prime unit at a constant speed at the same time. They keep walking and rolling around the field when standing still for the prime unit of the squad.

If anyone here can improve that squad ability, please tell us modders. We'll be appreciated for that.
