Halloween is the 31st for the record, not the 30th.
Also, this is my favorite time of year, lots of parties and the goth chicks in shorter skirts and tighter corsets than normal. Yummy.

Halloween is iffy in my part of the world. On one hand plenty of shenanigans and fun can be done. On the other, it's snow season and I hate cold weather.

Czechs have the All Souls' Day (2nd November)...

But my family had (1 month ago) that pumpkin bogey in front of our doors. Very Happy

Now I remember on that farcape Jack-o'-lantern... Laughing

Here in the States, tonight is known as Devil's Night. I know back when I was a youngster me and many other crazy youth around America would go around the nieghborhoods and TP everyones tree's, shaving cream on your car, egg your house, and the even crazier youngsters would go around and set shit on fire. Ahh the good old days...

halloween is just another candy holiday to me. Which on one hand I love Resses Peeces but on the other hand I don't want to be fat....

Meh. Commercialization.

Pentecost will be next up for the consumer-oriented sales...

Colorado. Base of the Sierra Mojada. A very Russian-esque climate here. (Blistering hot summers which I like and freezing cold winters quite frequently)

It has just two little quirks that separate us from Moscow.

1) The monsoon season. Every summer like clockwork (old timers here will say you used to be able to set your watch to it) it rains pretty much every single day. This lasts from June to September. (This year was odd, it came in late May and left in mid-September)

2) The Chinook winds. These westerly winds blow down the mountain (sometimes at great speed) and provide a warming effect at times during the winter. While our winter is known as quite cold by reputation the Chinook provides a moderating effect between cold spells/snowstorms. Random fact: the Chinook is popularly referred to old Indian language as "Snow eater" due to its tendency to melt large quantities of snowfall in a single day or less.

Spring here lasts all of 18 minutes and autumn lasts all of 12 minutes 38 seconds.

I hate how our shops adopted Halloween somewhere in the late 90s, thereby starting the trend of children asking for candy, only to make more money. I don't wanna share my candy with rude kids. Sad

Aro doesn't need to dress up for halloween, he can just dress the way he does every other day and fit right in:P

PS, that extra layer of makeup over your normal layer just looks wierd.
