New flu from Ukraine?

Today I was watching TV news where they were talking about some new virus, probably A1 flu killing people on Ukraine (around 23 in total), esp. on the west.

It's pretty scary, because Western Ukrainians are main foreign workers in many European countries.

They say you only have to worry if you have like asthma or other lung disease and/or weak immune system. Also it seems to be targeting mainly 25yr olds and younger. 5yrs and under get hit the worst from it. The US is wide spread with it from coast to coast and Pres Obama just declared it a National Emergency 2 days ago. I know where I live "Ohio" they cant get enough of the vaccine to handle the flow right now. NW Ohio has gone crazy over this.

Really,I'm not scared at all of this shit.

My family knows people who had this,and in less than a week,they've been cured with some basic medication.That's it.

Here in sweden, they said one guy died of it. What they didn't mention, was the fact that he had aids.

they just reported 90 more h1n1 death's of children and say it's gonna get alot worse due to lack of vaccinations. So I recommend if you have children, get them the shot if you can. This things packing a wallop on youngsters!

Wow, the numbers are just in, 22 Million people "just in America alone" have been sickened with Swine Flu, and 4000 have died as a result of it. I urge you if you have Children and if yourself have illnesses which may be complicated from this, Please try to get the Vaccine if havent done so already. The numbers are rising Faster each day.

This is nothing. It's not a pandemic. You want pandemic? Research the Spanish Flu. Now that was a flu to be feared.

apparently H1N1, Swine Flu, is the same strain as the Spanish Flu.

It is the same strain as the Spanish Flu, and It has been labled a Pandemic. The only reason there a far more less death's resulting from this than the Spanish flu is because todays mecical technology enabled us to quickly determine what it is and how to make a vaccine for it. The results would be far more catastrophic had our medical technology been the same as it were in the Spanish Flu era. And all age groups are dying from it, just more so in younger children.
