I'm pretty certain I can put together an upgrade for the Advanced Infantry buildings of the three factions with SubObjectsUpgrade tomfoolery. I was curious if there was a way found to have the units enter the Armory and come out with a veterancy level (think HealContain, only not). Something like VeterancyContain or UpgradeVeterancyContain.

This ability of the armory can be unlockable by purchase through the Tech Center or can incur a cost when the unit enters/exits the structure.... somehow.

Since SubObjectsUpgrade deals with preexisting objects being either hidden or revealed, it won't be used at all.

Trouble is, I have no idea where to start.

It would be cool if I could find a tidy, localized list of the modules available for use sorted by pertinence to the factions. Oh wait, there is one!! The schemas!! Joy!!! I get to search through schemas for a day and a half until my hunger turns to pain from my body eating itself from the inside out... my eyes go red and my neck stiffens. Joy!!! I digress.

It might sound a bit crazy, but could the VeterancyCrateCollide behavior from MOD SDK\CnC3Xml\Neutral\Crates\VeterancyCrate.xml be useful?

It doesn't sound crazy as I have had to use similar 'hacks' to get things to show up/not show up. Smile

Problem is, its a different kind of upgrade. I still haven't figured that problem yet. Still working and taking suggestions....
