interesting, i like the expressionist painting like feeling, google if need be,

however it -looks- too much like a filter, :p General rule of using filters is not to make them appear to obvious or really like you used them.

But other than that is all really can say, till you post that cutscene.

i have problems to actually see and differentiate the different parts of the scene.
Mainly because the lighting is bad and inconsistent. For example do the 2 buildings show a lighting from 2 different directions (shadow on the left of the left building and shadow on the right of the right building)

Since you can't see the ground on which the objects stand, it's also hard to have a good view of the depth and this way it's hard to see the connection between the different objects. (it's hard to see their different size, distance, position etc)
On real pictures with a missing ground the depth effect would be accomplished with a focus on the main part and an unsharpness of the unimportant background/foreground.

Thanks. I'll fix it as soon as I understand the logic of advanced lightning (I used simple lightning in this scene)
