I have this strange problem with RA2 (and YR, IIRC) online multiplayer. Whenever I quit a game, win or loose one, the game shows the score screen like normal. But as I want to move to the lobby from the screen, the game freezes. The music still plays, but it wont move to the lobby and instead remains still. I can't close the game, even CTRL+ALT+DEL wont work. Restarting my PC is the only way.

Btw, everytime the game freezes, it also shuts down all my internet connections.

Any help for this? The OS is Vista if that helps.

EDIT: I tried turning firewalls down, but now I got disconnected in the middle of a game.

I have the glaring RA2 flaw that when you finish a game, your Internet connection drops. There is no fix. Sorry Crim, you're out of luck on this one. You could try a reinstall but I don't know if that helps.

I do have a second PC with XP installed, though. Unfortunatelly it runs a lot slower than this one.

I may try installing RA2 there and see if it's any better.

There was a way for this, but jimminy christmas I cant remember. It was something to do with manually configuring your router with whatever ports RA2/XWIS uses.

You may as well enable DMZ with all the ports C&C uses. ugh.
