can I use the cnc3 SDK with Maya, or just 3DS Max?
if I can only use 3DS max, where can I find the 9 Trial, or can I use 2010?

thanks

I've heard of folks having difficulty with later version than 9. The SDK comes with plugins for Max 7 and 9. If Maya has the same export capabilities as Max then I'm sure it'll work. There are other programs made by the same company that are not compatible though (examples elude me but they're there).

As far as finding the trial, I just typed in 3DS Max Trial in Google and it was the first return I think. It shouldn't be difficult to find at all. If I find a positive link, though, I'll post it here.

It only works with Max 7, 8, or 9. It won't work with Maya.

(You could do some of the work in Maya like modeling or texturing, but you'll still need to export that into Max and then set it up and use the SDK exporter to get it ready for the game.)
