Sidebars and loading screens

How would I go about installing a sidebar and loading screen for a new side?

no, i have a few downloaded though, im going to modify one to fit the new side unless i can find a nod loading screen.

EDIT: Alright now I have the new loading screen that i was editing, the main loading screen was from a yuri screen someone made, im not sure who it was, but i found it on the yr argentina vxl/shp site, so i give credit to them for the main screen.

Loading screens for YR have to be in an .SHP format and have a new palette made for them (for best results). Rename the loading screen to whatever is necessary for the side you're adding these to (simple enough, look in the RA2 mix files to find the correct filenames). As for sidebars, simply replace the old sidec01/02.mix with the new one. Note that Yuri's sidebar can not be replaced without an .exe patch of some kind, the same applies for adding additional loading screens to YR's list.

Unmodded Yuri's Revenge, what you're after could be possible with an .exe patch of somekind. Look up Rock Patch, Ares or NPatch, I'm much more of a TS modder than a YR modder so my memory is pretty fuzzy when it comes to this sort of information.

i have npatch, the special edition one, i got it when i download mental omega.

If you have NPatch then review the NPatch Doc and see if it has any info on adding sidebars and/or loadscreens.

it didnt have one, it was a direct download for the patch itself.

You should learn moddig a bit better before adding a side becuse its hard

yeah, i have the side done and everything, the only deal is im having problems with adding flags and the loading screen, i decided im going to save that project for later, and just replace yuri, if its possible.
