Subject description: about random stuff

Right, I'm trying to use a custom shader that allows me to have normal mapped animated treads, however, once I've put them on the tank and exported and all that, the tread bits of the tank model are invisible ingame for some reason or other..

I've placed the shaders in the shaders folder where the sample shader is placed, and I've also placed them in builtmods/mods/onlywar2/shaders, but they're still invisible..

Any ideas what I'm forgetting here?

If it has the ending .fxo it must be placed in
shaders\compiled

Brilliant, It works now! ..kinda.. they're animating sideways but I'm guessing that's just a quick fix by changing its axis.

I think the guys at DerelectStudios already made a shader that does what you want but I can't find it. I thought it was in the cnc3.net downloads but I guess not.

Ju-Jin actually made one available on Thundermods.net.

You can find an English description here. (Note that the shader options are in English too).

I think I am the only one releasing shaders to public, everyone else seems to hold theirs for themselves ^^
