The mod is back but... I have no team to help me currently I have several buildings added to the game but could really use some help from a SHP maker editor and some one good at making voxels.


My building list (sorry no art):
Allied power upgrade.
Place this building on any allied power plant and it will produce 200 additional power.
2 per power plant.



Soviet mini reactor.
produces 1400 power per Reacator.


Grand lazer cannon.
5 per team allied only.
cost 4000 credits to make.


Rad Tower.
This one is still under development.
Key idea for it.
shoots A anti infantry beam that can damage tanks but at a higher rate than a Desolater.

New update for the Rad Tower.

The Rad Tower has a look but needs a build-up and a active animation also a damaged animation.

I believe that means your .shp is not centered on the grid in the .shp builder

The Mod is barely coming along I doubt ill even finish it by the end of the year but I have some good intentions for it the story line is a little shaky but role with me people.

[STORY] The RRR (Russian Revolution Republic) and The Allies are currently at a stand off because the Russian's have been defeated and broke into a greater threat whose main goal is to spread ore all over the planet (Yeah sounds like Kane). The Allies orbiting base's have picked up some very funky activity on the surface of the Earth (You know funky like some kind of time traveling device going off). The result of this funky activity is the rise of a man called Enak who happens to want the world to be consumed by ore. The allies plan is to kill Enak and the RRR's plan is to stop them. [/STORY]

So the RRR's building all kind's of tech the Allies don't have but the Allies will be able to fight them off.

There will be 2 new campaigns in the final release also some new skirmish maps.
So I'm looking for some idea's from the people. Tell me what you think.

Enak, really? I think your villain needs a better motivation, I do not belief that 'ore' would consume anything at all. But that building looks nice.

Im assuming this Enak guy came from the future. So how about he wants vengence on lets say the allied leader because they nuked his country or whatever. So he decides to go back in time and kill the allied powers to prevent such an event from happening.

Although I do not know where your RRR would fit in but there can be a workaround. You could even make the RRR Enak's military or what not.

Do what YOU wish it is YOUR mod after all. You do not have to please everyone on this forum.

Quick edit: would be intresting to see that Allied powers as the bad guy for once, too many mods and games out there where they are always the good guys.

Well I had the idea of taking Tib that came back through the "FUNKY SPOT" and have the story go like a mysterious object is popping up in the ore. BTW I could really use some help on voxels I'm currently learning how to do better SHP but... I need someone top help me design some of the unit's for the allies I can't really do unit's for the "good" team. I like the idea of allies being bad but ill work that into my next mod if I decide to make one.

In your place, I'd give one side devastating chemical/biological/nuclear [delete inappropriate entries] weapons which they are attempting to set up across the globe as part of their new plan for Global Domination/Ransom/Defence against the Aliens [delete inappropriate entries]. There, you already have a start for your story.

Okay BioControl Disorder has a quick update. The mod has been going along slowly and all but here is what I have going.

1. Rad tower will have a new look compered to what I have released.

2. The grand lazer will also look alot different.

3.The story line has changed.

Revised Story Line:The year is unknown because after a great nuke that took out the almost all of North and South America. The terrible man who's goal to bring the world into a dictatorship has risen in Russia. The RRR(Russian Revolution Republic) has been created through his rise of power. The man once thought to be a hero to the Allies now a mortal enemy. Albert Einstein has united the RRR and is trying to take over the world by spreading his very dangerous chemical through the worlds natural resources.

4. every scenery will have a different resource
Desert=OIL
Temperate=ORE
Snow=BIO CHEMICAL WASTE
Lunar=**unknown**(Truth just want to keep this one secret)
Urban=RADIOACTIVE ORE

If the world is filled with valuable ore, the valuable ore will no longer be nearly as valuable. Think about it.

And could you clarify what the ore is?
The Ra1/Ra2 gems make me think regular ore is just gold.
And if gold was everywhere, the value would drop, and most of its financial purpose as a reserve for wealth and/or status would be lost. The only conceivable uses left would be decoration, because of its tarnish-resistiveness. Gold in masses having much less practical use, than say Iron or Oil, would perhaps not even be worth the process of refining the ore if the quantity was so large. This way the ore refining wouldn't make any sense to fund your army.

While the ore would not be very useful anymore, gold is not (and never was in ra1/ra2) harmful or anything... So the spread of gold would be like spreading dirt or dust around the surface of the earth. This really makes it have not much effect unless you really take this to the max; consider the gold being shiny, making the earth reflect more heat and maybe putting it into an Ice Age.

well you can introduce the aliens..... they come to earth and allies team up with them and gets some of their superior technology whereas the RRR leader enak comes from the the future and kidnaps einstein and persuades him to work for the RRR so that he can prevent the awful future from which he came
this way you can show the allies as bad guys too ( for them who want to see allies as bad guys )

Okay I thought we went over this and I sort of explained the story. ENAK is out of the story but replaced with Einstein who convinces Russia to start a new revolution by nuking alot of the allied country's. He then begins the RRR(Russian Revolution Republic).


I have decided there will only be 1-3 allied nations seeing as Russia has cleared them out. The mod will require Yuri to be patched to 1.001 and has no additional patches until further notice.

Mt, you are using a supply/deman basis for determining value, however, it can be assumed that the ore was valued on a basis of useability (same with tib) in that it was melted down and used to created whatever you build. So you melt down the ore and use the raw materials to build a tank, or atleast something like that. Doesn't make much sense, but neither would a supply demand basis work because when you are acculmulating much of it, your credits would become worth less #Tongue.

Also, do note that Value of materials are based on it's usability/demand, not just by scarcity alone. Heck, Gold now is only used to represent economical value...because it's shiny/decorative and doesn't tarnish as MT has said. Well, in the end, it all comes down to everyone loving it's shininess. Oh, and if Gold was stupidly available, then.....well, every port(USBs, HDMI, etc) I use will be using gold Very Happy

The missions with the irradiated ore and the missions with the resource that seems useless are going to have a new faction in them that I will personally add to each map. You can't attack the faction or there miners. The only reason you pick this resource up is because you can sell it to the faction. Who's goal is to clean up the earth.
Also is it possible to have a miner that changes looks depending on scenery.
By the way I will be extracting each map and updating it.

Okay I have had a few problems with Ares but I have not not fully tested all its feature's In the mist of adding a new side it sort of failed. I will be trying to get that to work for a new faction and I will also be looking to convert BCD to Ares.

When I release the mod with the story line I ho[e it will better explain then me trying my best to get the information as best out there as possible. So ill explain the story again except ill try to give as much detail as possible.


The year: UNKNOWN

Russia has taken over the world.
After Russia nuked the hell out of many allied nations, Einstein became the leader of the RRR(Russian Revolution Republic). He came to power because all along he had a plan to take over the world. So he starts making an army for when Russia fails to guard him. So all along his plan was to make the Allies fall then make the Russians fall.


But there is more that I have to keeps secret so You would have to play it to figure it out.

I thought I had bad ideas for Incursion units / game modes. xd

You need to seriously sit down and think of a logical and believable storyline. While RA2 isn't known for it's logic (zomg looney time shifting) it helps to make sure Einstein isn't acting in ways he never would and coming up with whatever you can think of on the spot. You should probably focus on one thing at a time and not work on ALL of your mod every time someone posts.
