Okay, so I've been floating around the forums a bit lately and I was tossing around the issue of modding with the community a bit more again Smile . Not really sure how it will turn out. I need to brush up on voxeling a again probably so I made this topic for people to throw me some original sounding ideas to start from.

Ideas for Tiberian Sun first, RA2 comes later #Tongue

Ickus loves craziness, just like you Harv. You'll get on fine.
Why not try some TS concept remakes? Westwood didn't exactly do the best job on them. I know you like voxel ideas to be completely random and out of the blue (I could just post links to some of your old TI work #Tongue), so you should probably try to create an entire set for a third faction, probably the mutants or scrin.

Hmmm, this would look good as a shp for RA2. ^^^^ I may just try this one later down the road.

But I would like to see some better civ cars if your in the mood to make some.

Actually Aro I am back for real this time Smile , I might PM you in a bit about some uh... stuff.

But I'm Going to update the first post with stuff that I'm going to make so far I have:

-Mobile Stealth Generator (The one in the pic Aro Posted)

Better Orcas.
Fighter is meh.
Bomber is the ugliest thing in TS, without a doubt, imo.
Carryall is small.

For the Mobile Stealth Gen I'll probably make it rather large (x2) + a bigger area of effect but I'll also need to build a deploy shp. Embarassed

@ Orac: I'll probably replace the entire orca concept, I never liked it

The shape is great, just the texture has too much remap. Change the remap of the wheel guard plates into grey metallic.
The bright golden color on the window doesn't suits Nod with the dark grey windows.

The big wheels look a bit boxy from the side. They could be more round.

How about replacing the blue on the stealth orb with the texture of the stealth orb from the stealth generator building? Would look alot better.

looks nice, but the guns are coming out of the front of the voxel, when they should be coming of the sides, over tires. I'm in the process of making this same unit in 3dsMax. I just think it's cool and I most likely will use it Razz
