Pink dot syndrome. On both the bomber and the ship in that image... But let's concentrate on the bomber. I would suggest editing it a bit using colors in the middle of the pallet instead of the colors on the edges of it.

Needs better normals on the wings.
Remember, one pixel thick segments will be badly normalized, and to get around this problem all parts of the model need to be at least 2 voxels thick.
(Unless you intend to hand paint normals, then you can just paint the wings with the top facing normal).

You mean that each facing ( face up and down) of wing needs to be 2 layer thick?
or just the edges nedd to be 2 layers thick?

Each pixel has a normal, which governs how the pixel lights up at each angle ingame. There isn't a normal which allows the pixel to be 'lit' from both above and below.

What you see on the wings in the autonormals be picked arbitrarily, and thus making the voxel look too dark or too bright at some angles.

In short, everything which is going to be seen (as in, the outside of the unit) needs to be two layers thick. So yeah, the whole wings need to be two layers thick at every point.

To add to 001010011100101110's comment, floating above the water, rather than in it. For that, make sure that the voxel has no empty layers below the bottom of the unit, and make sure that the HVA is all correctly set up around the axes Smile

New Version
I fixed the wing normal problem by using a new section with smaller scale (in order to keep the thickness of wing constant)
And I add new sections to contain individual flaps ( can make hva animations later Smile )

I was thinking of using Mig Eater's ZH Aurora Bomber in my mod as a support power. Now I think I'll have to reconsider :3

-- The remap could be better, with more visually appealing colouring. (less contrast between the darkest and lightest parts of the craft)

Smooth it out some so the colors blend better. Get a nice smooth transition going and it will be spotlight worthy.
