Why does game crash!!!

I know that this has nothing to do with editing the game, but every time I start Fraps before I start RA2YR, the game will become a little laggy, the AI won't build walls, the AI won't attack, overall gamespeed is lowered, and when it approaches the AI first attack timer (As stated in rulesmd.ini) the game crashes... no except.txt from the crash either.

Does anyone know why this happens?

FRAPS crashes YR. It's pretty well known. Try CamStudio.

CamStudio does not record sound! Is there anyway to record sound without a microphone? (I have one, but then it's bad quality)

Yes it does record sound, you just have to choose your sound card as the input device.

Well there is Speakers, Microphones, and Line In for sound card options, but neither works! Why?

i use hypercam 2 personally but i think its the same thing. go to control panel hardware and sound (if vista, its something like that for xp), sound, then go to recording Tab. Disable everything except speakers (its called stereo mix most of the time if not all the time), and then it should record properly. Just be ready to switch everything back if you plan to do voice chat any time soon. hope i helped :p works for me.

i havent modded in awhile :p just been playing GTA SA and MAG. i only started modding again yesterday ._. may make a video soon though. good luck recording though (b0_0)b
