Hmm those turbines are still shocking.
Maybe it's because they are all of one color.
On the cameo,it's black at a small part of front,and unit color for the rest (I wonder if it's black again behind,since we see the unit from the front on the cameo). QUICK_EDIT

That seems fairly decent, for a first proper voxel
I would suggest that you look at the proportions of the original Renegade one, and then modify the proportions accordingly (The back engines could be larger, the front could be more distinct, etc)
And also shading, but that could come later. QUICK_EDIT
This is much much MUCH better! It could be slightly bigger, maybe even half a size bigger, but this is much better, keep up this kind of work. _________________ QUICK_EDIT

look brother the black dots happen because your voxel is too thin 3 to 4 voxels deep. for sloped surfaces makes the black dots go away and don't use any coulor 0-15- cuz they don't function.

Look at the way Dubzac and carnage have been redoing some of the older voxels on the forum (their thread for this is currently in the main Media Hut forum), and take special notice of how they manage to achieve superb levels of surface details by using different shades of colour to highlight lines, panels, etc.
Try to follow their example and it should be a good next step/level to progress to. At the moment, the uniform application of colour that you used on the main hull makes the entire vehicle look "flat"... _________________ Adapt or die QUICK_EDIT

This topic is a great demonstration of someone first doing nooby recolors to something worth having in a mod from scratch :/ kinda inspiring really. QUICK_EDIT
reduce the hover skirt to the body so you can hardy see that it is different in shape (be flush) then it will be ready!.
but keep the details your doing well, also the gradient of the cockpit is too step make it less veritcal and more hoizantal like the picture yes it be hard but make yours have 2 -3 cell bocks for the slope all the way down untill you get to the door part, then it be perfect also remember those big turbines make a shadow on the base to make sure to have gradual change in colour form bright to dark _________________ Link to a document to see what mods i have and/or working on or working with
