As some of you allready might have noticed, the german translation for TWA 1.6 was recently released.

DOWNLOAD

However, this version is only addvaible in german - theres a couple of bugs that still need fixing and some missing content that I want to add before I start translating it, hence 1.6 will propably not released in englich anytime soon. :/
Nevertheless, most of the stuff is pretty self-explanatory, so I suggest checking it out if you dont mind the german unit voices & sounds. Wink

Do you have a list of new changes? I know of the helipads and the new GDI transports, dunno if your Tiberium Troopers are in yet.

No, I stopped making a changelist somewhere in the summer last year :>
Theres way to much to mention, but in generel the gameplay has been inprofed (better balancing & counters, the buildtime for buildings has been reduced (still slower than in TW).
But yes, the Tib-Trooper are in Smile

Came across a news posting titled, "All Good Things (Come To An End)". Somehow reading a post by DeeZire in an unrelated forum and I was taken there and I couldn't agree more. Modding this game has been so unnecessarily difficult. But when they bank on expansions, and sequels, it's to be expected. Hell people are still getting play out of C&C 95, imagine the financial hurt it would put on them if a game as recent as C&C 3 was popular for that long? There's no way they can let that happen, and they sure as hell wont encourage it.

Good mod btw. Enjoyed it.

Modding TW is no more difficult then Generals, in my opinion its much easier. And noone complained about the difficulty at Generals.

More likely because this ain't a Generals modding forum, but wth. I've tried modding TW, and, well, it requires some patience to get into (and some XML knowledge sure does help too).

I started with Generals modding in late 2003. Imo its really the same compared to ini stuff. Only real difference I can see are the tag brackets instead of Begin/End

Any suggestions what weapons Cyborgs should have?

I was going to give the awakende a heavy maschine gun and the Enlighted a plasma gun (like the Wraith, the charged particles dont fit into TWA) and making their EMP require the EMP Coils upgrade, but that would give Nod a lot of EMPs early.
Any suggestions what weapons/upgrades cyborgs should have?

Weird, I can see body shadows on the Shock Trooper, but none on the Cultists. They almost look like they were photoshopped into the pic.
