I have the graphics made in shp editor as any other rock overlay in the game and the rules and art files have been modified accordingly also the graphics srock06.tem file is placed into the expandmd01.mix where i put my new trees as well which work fine.

How ever this rock does show up in the final alert 2 special overlays 'rocks' list but, it will not let me place it nor does it display the graphics for it in FA2.

Any ideas anyone?

Final Alert 2 is a very gay program, some things don't appear in Final Alert but work fine in-game. Look in the All Overlays list for your rocks, they'll appear as a number in Final Alert (0x8 for example) and should work fine in-game if you've coded everything correctly.

Thanks Smile I got it to show up in both the game and fa2 with that method except if I add it as a 'new' overlay the map loads with a internal cause the overlay list is hardcoded. How ever when i replace something else in the list it either doesn't show up or I get side effects when I do.
