Post pictures of your Computer! (And/Or Desk)
Here's mine...
- Mac Mini
- Acer BMII 24" 1080p
- Apple Keyboard+Numpad
- Apple Magic Mouse (touch surface)
- Some logitech speakers/subwoofer
- Palm Touchstone charger for my Palm Pre
- Prada Glasses
I tidied up some since that picture, but not much. However, instead of an SNES controller coming off my USB, it's an NES instead. I got a new keyboard too.
I hate Macs... seriously... no offense to anyone, but a lot of offense to Apple...
Well anyways here's mine (I should get a better camera):
- Wireless Microsoft Keyboard 3000 v2.0
- Wireless Microsoft Mouse 5000
- Dell Dimension 5150 (Spare me please)
- NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX Graphics Card
- Dual Two Slot 4 GB RAM Memory
- 500GB Samsung LeiTingWang Mobile External Hard Drive With Leather Casing
- 1000W Sony Home Theater System with Bass Subwofer Wireless Surround Sound and Blu-ray compatibility
- LG 50 Inch Plasma Ultrathin 1080p HD TV

I didn't make this topic to see how many people hate macs.
I own a mac because it's incredibly well designed visually, small, silent, and has the option of running OSX (which I prefer) and Windows (which I occasionally need).
Numbersdude, you have the most kickass home theater setup. I'm jealous, I want those speakers. :] ...andthatTV!!!

I'm sure most people here have figured out that I'm too Type-A for it to be anything but that, haha. :p QUICK_EDIT
I use what I get and have difficulty letting go of them.
I bought the Xbox 360 in 2009 after being asked about 999 times by friends
I bought the 24" monitor in 2009 because it was awesome.
The mini-PC was given to me by my brother in 2009
The laptop I got as a Christmas present in 2008
The 17" monitor was given to me in 2006
The old WinXP machine (hidden from pic) was given to me in 2003
The Playstation dates back to about 1994 when my sister bought it. Then my brother got it and in 2000 I was mostly using it...
As for necessity I really don't need it all but what I use them for is:
The 17" monitor used so I can use my XP PC which I use to test a lot of things; like my TS installation program and LAN between Windows 7 and WinXP on several games.
I use the laptop as my main PC
I take the mini PC to school because it's small and it works excellently as a Word, Power Point and Excel PC.
The 24" monitor is used as my main PC monitor and I use it to play Xbox 360 and Playstation games.
The Xbox 360 is there to do what an Xbox 360 can best...play games
The Playstation is there to play awesome playstation games.
So a lot of it isn't necessary, but I use my stuff for a long time. I never throw away stuff because it's old _________________ QUICK_EDIT

Well, this is a mess (although not a disgusting one, at least), but I call it personal order.
The bottom boxes from left to right:
PC itself (Yes, that is a prebuilt Dell. 2 years old and keeps on trucking.)
Wi-Fi router that does not work half the time. Que the sister whining to turn it on through magic.
Printer/Scanner/Fax/SkyNet. Sentience mode disabled.
Comcast router. Small. Has a button to halt the connection, into one way. Annoying.
Controls (bottom):
Dell Mouse and Keyboard. The PC only has USB slots for these.
My desks keyboard stand is falling apart. Damn it.
Main table:
1 speaker. Connected to a stereo system no one uses.
Empty bottle of pills. Why?
Games, games, games. Lovely jewel boxes.
Papers of various importance.
Borrowed 360 controller. No worthy games to use it with.
More games.
Display area:
More papers. Also a place to store greeting cards. Also, a buried speaker.
E-machine monitor. Also hole-ridden glasses that magically let you see... and overload your eyes in a few minutes.
The TFD in case of sudden Invasion Confirmed beta. Also somewhere out there is my pitifully small, yet awesome tablet.
More games.
Upper part:
Various, irrelevant things placed there for no reason at all. Not mine.
Got this last week.
That's a train whistle in the basket.
Also, what's wrong with this keyboard?(Although it's not as annoying as those Apple keyboards, that's like the only thing I don't like about Apple)
When I get my new desk in the game room I'll take a new pic.
Also, Did anyone else go OMFG that's a huge screen when they upgraded from a 13" screen? _________________ Last edited by Roadwarrior on Wed Apr 21, 2010 2:15 am; edited 1 time in total QUICK_EDIT
And I did mean 50... when I went to one of my friends' houses, I almost wanted to ask why did they have a puny PC screen but then I realized that it was a 24 inch... QUICK_EDIT
Updated with my new keyboard and mouse, which rock.
Also pictured: my DS Lite with Pokemon Sapphire and HeartGold in it, my old 7900GS that I need to put away, an NES controller and a Majora's Mask game guide.
Also, no, I do not have the side panel on my case right now. The PSU wires don't really let me have it on too well. xD And that video card peeking out is a 9600GT.
Oh, and yes, I love Pepsi. <3 Throwback. Last edited by Dark Templar X on Thu Apr 22, 2010 9:43 pm; edited 1 time in total QUICK_EDIT
From leftish to rightish...
-coke cans behind mah contact solution and contact case. (Coke because Coke > Pepsi )
-USB plug-in speakers and my laptop which i use a wireless mouse with
-my basic chair
-PSP, laptop carrier bag with a bag of M&Ms on top.
-Some change jars, a stereo system, my soccer bag on top, and my base guitar amp with a flashlight and 'dust remover' thing in front.
As for the desk itself, it's an old Trendway wall mount desk typically used in more office like environments. And the little thing on the left behind my laptop is an 'arm' piece that I used to have a small TV on it. Which now i need a new TV in there...hrmm
Now if I would have taken a pic just 1 week ago you would have seen an old Windows 98 computer with monitor, and old non-functioning Windows XP desktop and it's monitor, lots of Coca Cola cans, and various other things. But I actually cleaned mah room...

Ideazon FANG, purchased before the company was bought by Steelseries. It should still be available under the same name. I was just compelled to put the Xtrac sticker on it for some reason. :p _________________

PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360 plugged into larger screen and all sound played through stereo. Though in honesty I use it only for PC stuff and playing Silent Hill games on my PS2, other stuff barely gets touched. Makes watching downloaded avi's easy though.
EDIT - Ignore that Mac theme (sorry for whoever had a Mac) - It's Windows XP SP 3 _________________ QUICK_EDIT

If you ask me, I'd rather get a CM-690 for cheap, it might not look as good, but its definitely cheaper and has 11 fan slots iirc. oh, and it also has a unique sata drive port. _________________ Please, I DON'T read the signature rules of the forum. QUICK_EDIT
Well you know, always gotta be prepared for the future and RAM jumps.
Yes, and also I need it for models that have 20+ million polygons and for rendering animated movies. _________________ Please, read the signature rules of the forum. QUICK_EDIT
