I broke my AI
Subject description: It's not broken anymore, but.....
Now I was trying to convert my AIMD file for someone, when I ran into a problem. The Hard AI works perfect, but easy and normal all they do is build buildings. I have a few things saved as info on what the numbers do, but I can't see any problems. Most likely you don't have enough teams with IsBaseDefense=yes for the values declared in MinimumAIDefensiveTeams. The values in this tag are in order of Hard, Medium, Easy.
The reason the AI only build it's base when you don't have enough teams is the AI always builds teams with IsBaseDefense=yes first until it has the minimum amount declared in MinimumAIDefensiveTeams. Only when this is met, the it will start producing normal teams.
I just normally slap no on UseMinDefenseRule and I think you get around that. I know my Soviet AI does since I only have one defense trigger and MinimumAIDefensiveTeams is set to 4. _________________ Because Banshee saw fit to ban my other account for no reason, this is my new one. QUICK_EDIT
Thanks for the input on that Dutchygamer and High Templar X, I will have to look into those points. The hard enemy is crazy, playing against 4 AI is a challenge, but the easy and normal are broken.

are the min and max numbers ok? I recently discovered this too. This way, you can make the AI defend a little bit better, and obey prerequisites (as long as you have the correct triggers). QUICK_EDIT

Holy S**T!!!.............I changed it to no and damn I don't know whats worse playing 4 Hard AI or 4 Easy AI, I just had a serious battle to test out the change and WOW, it was rough. My AI sends in fighter planes pretty good, but now on easy it was a total cluster f***. I just got smoked in 10 minutes 2 hard and 2 easy AI. I think I need to tone down my AI, plus I have to adjust the map I just played on needs more obstacles so the AI or player can't rush and attack so easy.
And the AI still ignores the prerequisite tags on my bombers. If you c/p them from the Harrier Teams, it's most likely that AutoCreate is still on yes, which (as the names says) makes the AI automatic create this team QUICK_EDIT

Well, I set it to no and ran it through a multiplayer map test. Everything works except for 1 thing now, they don't build base defenses (pillbox, guard towers, and anti air craft guns). I know it is because of the rules section.
