Ares or Npatch not working

I have version 1.001 but whenever I install Npatch or Ares and then try to run it I always get this error. Someone please tell me how to fix this.

Did you forget to set the compatibility mode to win98 on YR, Syringe, and Ares?

It's just giving me the error straight away now

You have to set gamemd.exe, RA2MD.exe & Syringe.exe to Windows 98 or XP compatibility. All of them need to use the same compatibility setting too.

I've tried this now I just get the error straight away.

I know it sucks, but it sounds like you may have to uninstall/reinstall Yuri. Compatibility is the only thing I know of that causes the
***FATAL STRING*** error but if you set them correctly and still getting it then yea I'd say try reinstalling yuri.

Can you run YR without initializing Ares? If no try setting compatibility on all of these to "Win98"

YR.exe
Gamemd.exe
RA2md.exe
mphmd.exe

Are you running Ares with the RunAres.bat file or are you using LaunchBase?

Finally got this working

(I tried this like like 5 times but it finally works.)
